This test helps identify issues such as fluid in the middle ear, Eustachian tube dysfunction, ear infections, or stiffness in the ossicles — conditions that may not be detected through routine hearing tests.
During the procedure, a small probe is gently placed into the ear canal to change air pressure while producing a tone. The device then measures how the eardrum responds to these changes. The results are displayed as a tympanogram, which helps our Audiologist, Mr. Raman Koul, determine the health and mobility of your middle ear system.
